This Asian market is truly a lifesaver and honestly feels like the last hope for everyone in this economy. The quality of the groceries is excellent, and the prices are unreal, you genuinely can’t beat them anywhere else. Even the fresh produce is top-tier. I grabbed a container of strawberries for just $2, and they were incredibly fresh and delicious. The old man at the checkout counter is very nice and friendly too. I can’t believe I was sleeping on this store for so long. Everything from affordability to quality makes it an easy choice, and I’ll definitely be making this my go-to market from now on. Highly recommend to anyone trying to stretch their budget without sacrificing quality.
This place is fantastic. Produce is so much more affordable than the big supermarkets. Really cool Asian ingredients that you can't find anywhere else. Since discovering this place I've really upped my cooking game (Pad Thai, curries, noodles, etc). The frozen dumplings are fantastic but be careful as they are addictive. The guys who work there are very sweet. Just an overall great addition to the community.
For a fairly nondescript place in an area one would not expect an Asian grocery, it was surprisingly well-stocked and deceptively spacious. We were able get everything we were looking for, from essentials like oyster sauce, to Vietnamese rice noodles and Korean and Chinese culinary staples. Even has a decent fresh produce section. Prices were very reasonable. The kind, old man (presumably the owner) was very friendly to all the customers.
Trans market is the only place in the area where I can find some of my favorite snacks, and staple ingredients!
Trans is great. Get produce at a fraction of the price compared to grocery store chains (like Hannafords). Some days are better than others in terms of quality and shelf-life potential. I guess it just depends on the suppliers and delivery schedule. Super friendly and helpful service. I probably stock up here once a week and am always happy at the checkout. Best blackberries I've ever had were from here. Went back a week later and not as good. So to sum it up overall, some things can be a little hit or miss at times, but it's totally worth it.
Great little market with tons of fresh produce at great prices. The exciting part is the ton of spices, snacks, and other goodies that you can't find anywhere else. Of course I was on the hunt for sweets and grabbed a couple that I'd never seen before. It isn't a one-stop shop but it's easier than traveling half across the world for some of the stuff they have.
